Pumping | NaOH / HCl |
Where | Czech CHP Plant |
Replaced | Progressing Cavity Pump |
Why | Precise dosing control Frequent Dry Running Incidents High Stator Wear Rates |
Benefit | Minimised boiler corrosion |
CHP (Combined Heat and Power) stations are an environmentally preferred solution as they re-use the heat generated by an waste incineration for community heating and power generation. The incinerator feed requires conditioning by adding precisely controlled quantities of Caustic Soda (NaOH) and Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) to minimise boiler corrosion.
